Remember in the last century and especially in the 19th century, in homes they often had what they called parlors or receiving rooms?  And in buildings today, they have a reception area.  They also call it a vestibule, or a waiting room.  They have waiting rooms at the hospital where you go and you wait.

Well, Mrs. Brown says, “Well, you need to go out and receive them because they have brought some wonderful things for you.”

Okay, so she finishes up her dinner, and she goes out and she receives them.  All right, this is an illustration of, the Holy Spirit has been living in your house ever since you got saved.  You just may not have gone into that part of your life and fully received all the benefits that He can give you.

Now raise your right hand.  Say, “I’ll never forget that story.”

All right, it’s almost 11:30, got to move.  All right, Jesus has now said to them, “Out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.”

All right, now come to the Day of Pentecost in the book of Acts.  Peter stands up before all the people and says, “Men and women of Judea and all who dwell here in Jerusalem, let it be known to you, These are not drunken as you suppose”—we’ll deal with that scripture a little later on when we talk about the joy of the Lord, which will be a Holy Ghost knock-down, drag-out in this room.  We’ll probably do that the class before spring break.

“For these are not drunken as you suppose”—and I’ll focus on that—“since this is only the third hour of the day,” nine o’clock in the morning.  “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel, And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith the Lord, that I shall pour out my Spirit upon all flesh.”

All right, this was what is commonly called the Day of Pentecost in the book of Acts, where the disciples were told by the Lord to gather in an upper room and they would be baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire, and when they first began to speak in tongues.

LR: Father, in the name of Jesus, if Satan, who is the chief counterfeit, has the power to be contagious with germs, bacteria, virus, anthrax, AIDS, and any other name like that, then Father God, how much more are we to be contagious with the Holy Spirit.

Because the name of Jesus is above every name named in heaven and earth, and at that name, everything else has to bow.

So Father God, today, as we lay hands on people, I am asking You, I am requesting of You, I am beseeching You and making a demand on the anointing, that Richard Roberts and Lindsay Roberts and all the Trustees that come and pray with us become contagious with the fire of the Holy Spirit.

John G. Lake described it as lightning flashed from God. God, I’m asking You, that as every person comes in this line, that You would flash them with the lightning bolt of the Holy Spirit.

Now, God, I ask that every person that is in this building be touched by Your presence, and by Your Holy Spirit.  Touch them. Give them traveling mercies.  Take everything from this conference that you want them to have and impart it in to them.

And take everything You don’t want them to have and suck it out of them.  In the name of Jesus.  Amen.

“Cause once you have my heart, you have all of me.  And when you have all of me, I will not stop praying until you’re delivered.

And I’ve spent time after time after time after time, spending night after night where I do not close my eyes, and I do not go to sleep because I’m calling certain people’s name out before God, and saying, “God, if they don’t get delivered, I may never sleep.  But I will not close my eyes until I see deliverance.”

And I could tell you that intercession hit me once like I have never had it hit me in the history of my life.  And I would begin to weep.  And I think I went through this about 3 months. And I mean to tell you, I would go through the drive-thru, and I’d be crying so hard, I’d have to pull the car off and tell my kids to go order.

We were on television, taping a live TV show, and I looked at my husband, and I said, “I can’t help this,? and I began to weep.  And I would cry, and I’d cry, and I’d cry, and I’d call this young man’s name out before God.  And I’d cry, and I finally said, “I can’t breathe.”  And I looked at my husband, and I said,  ”I’ve got to go home.”  And he was in the middle of a live TV program.  And I’m looking at him, going, “You do it.  Just do it.”   And I get up.

And I would be crying so hard, I’d have to pull my car off on the side of the road.  And I finally said, “God, I beg You to lift this from me.  I can’t live like this.”  Three months of this, not sleeping, not eating, not doing anything but crying.  I mean, I would stand up in a kindergarten class and begin to weep. I’d come and I’d go to work, and I’d begin to weep.  And I’d sit at my desk, and I’d begin to weep.  And I could not stop it.

And I had a reality check that day.  It’s not about me; it’s not about my labeling, it’s not about you; it’s not about your labeling.  If you are Christian, it means you are in Christ Jesus.  It’s all about Him.  And all you have the right to do is say,  ”Yes, Sir.”

John 17:1.  This is when Jesus was getting ready to go to glory.  But before He goes back to glory, He’s going to get crucified.  And if any of you’ve seen The Passion, you know what you’re about to read.  He said, “Father, the hour is come. Glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son may glorify Thee.”  Go to the 5^th verse.  “And now, Father, glorify?” are you getting that glory word?  I want you to burn that into your spirit right now.  “And now, oh, Father, glorify Me with Thine own self, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”

The glory that He had before the foundation of the earth, He said use that same glory.

Number 7.  “Now they have known that all things whatsoever you have given me are of You.  For I have given unto them the words which You gave to me, and they have received them.”

First He gave it, but someone had to receive it.

“And know surely that I came out of You, and they have believed it.”  First they heard it, then they received it, then they believed it.

“And I pray for them.  I don’t pray for the whole world.”  Can you imagine that?  But that’s what He said.  “But only for those which you have given me, for they are mine.”

Thirteenth verse:  “And now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they might have joy fulfilled within themselves.  I have given them Thy word, and the world hated them.”  Hello, we know that one.  “Because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  I pray not that You take them out of the world, just keep them from evil.”

But you get to the teenagers, and truthfully, they look through you.  They don’t just look at you.  They can read you like a book.  They have been there, they have done that, they have seen nMTV, and nothing you say can go past them.  Teenagers have a discernment that I’ve never seen in other people in my life.  They can read your mail.  And they know when you are blowing smoke in nyour face, and they will look at you and say, “You’re blowing smoke in my face,? and make no bones about it.

So when I was asked to go to Victory Christian School and preach to teenagers, you know how when you’re a parent, you say to your little children all the time, “Don’t you embarrass me.”  And then when your children are teenagers and coming to preach at their school, they say to you, “Don’t you embarrass me.”  So the pressure was on.

And while they were saying that to me over and over, I asked the Father God, “What in the world am I going to say that will minister to them?”  And now I look back on it, and I believe it’s,  ”Be the message.”  They want you to be the message.

We gathered a bunch of kids at my house, and we were all eating and goofing and laughing and the kids were watching television, and we began to talk about some of the kids in the class that I would be speaking to.  And so therefore, I began to panic even more.

And one little girl by the name of Katie Volvo (?) piped up, and she said, “You know, we’re not what we do.”  And that ran through me.  She said, “We’re not what we do.  Sometimes we’re great kids who do stupid things.  And we get labeled for those stupid things for the rest of our lives.  The best thing that you could ever do for us, is help us get over those labels.”

Now you who had the problem with your eyes, check your eyes.  Look around.  You who had the problem with your hearing, check yourself.  You who had the pain in your back or your legs, check yourself.  I just sent the word to you for healing.

Now here’s a demonstration.  I didn’t lay hands on anybody, but I sent the word.  I do this on television because I can’t physically touch people.  And people get healed every night that I’m on.

According to Oral Roberts who can tell there’s a difference in your eyes since we just prayed?  Raise your hand up.  Stand up if you’re seeing better.  Stand up.  Stand up if you’re seeing better.  Stand up.  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  Can you see better?  That’s an example of sending the word.

Now who received healing in your back, wave your hand.  Who can tell the pain is gone from your back?  Stand up.  Lindsay Roberts says that begin to bend.  Can you tell a difference?  Is it better?  Yes.  Is it better?  Yes.  Is it better?  Yes.  Is it better?  Yes.  Is it better?  Yes.  Is it better?  Is it better?  Yes.  Is it better?  Is it better way up there?  Yes.  Is it better?

You got healed in your knees.  I didn’t pray for knees, she got healed in her knees.

INTERPRETER: No, you said legs.

RR: I did say legs.  Sometimes I forget what I say.

INTERPRETER: You said legs, yeah.  She’s included.

RR: Yeah, one more.  Who is hearing better?  Suddenly now your ear’s opened and you can hear me better now.  Okay, I’ll get back to that.  Sometimes I forget what I said.  Who’s hearing me better, wave your hand.  Is your hearing better?  Can you hear me better?  Hearing me better?  Hearing me better?

Richard Roberts – Who can tell you were healed in your legs?  Your legs?  Stand up.  The healing’s in your legs, stand up.  Are your legs better?  Better?  Leg’s better?  Leg’s better?  Leg’s better?  Leg’s better?  Your leg’s better?  All right, that is an example of sending the word.  Let’s give praise to the Lord.  Hallelujah!

RR: Hallelujah!  Heavenly Father, it is not by might, nor by power, but it is by the Holy Spirit.  It is not by the preaching of man by the enticing words, but it’s preaching with the demonstration of the power of God.

Thank You for the testimony of that boy.  Thank You that that boy did not die.  He did not lose the use of his arms and legs, but that today You touched him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet.  And he will never be the same and neither will his mother.  Neither will his family.  Neither will those who are involved in the medical clinic today.  That word will spread throughout San Salvador, and many lives will be touched as a result.

I praise You, and I thank You that tonight is a night of miracles.  And I praise You, and I worship You.  Satan, you take your hands off of us.  We do not belong to you.  We belong to God.  We were paid for by the shed blood of Jesus, and we’ll glorify God in every area of our lives.  In Jesus’ name, amen, amen.  Give praise to the Lord tonight.  Come on, give praise to the Lord.  Hallelujah!  God bless you.  You may be seated.

Now tonight you need a point of contact.  A point of contact.  What is your point of contact?  What is it that you do to release your faith?

When I was ten years old, I had 22 warts on my hand.  And they were spreading.  And they were growing.  My mother said, “We’re going to have the doctor burn it off.”  Dr. Powell, they did that in those days.

My father said, “We’re going to pray.”  I said, “Yes, please.”  He took me in the bedroom.  He said, “I’m going to pray.”  He said, “I want you to release your faith.”

I said, “Daddy, daddy, how do you release your faith?”

He said, “Through a point of contact.”  I said, “What is a point of contact?”  He said, “A point of contact is something you do and when you do it, you release your faith.  Now when I pray, you let your faith go.  When I say, ‘In Jesus’ name,’ you let your faith go.”  I said, “Okay.”

And he began to pray for me.  Then he came to a point in his prayer when he said, “In Jesus’ name.”  And I was listening.  I was waiting for that.  And when he said, “In Jesus’ name,” I said, “Faith, get up to God.”  I let my faith go.  I released my faith.

I looked at my hands.  Every wart was still there.  I looked at my father.  He said something I’ve never forgotten.  He said, “Now we’ve prayed and we’ve believed.  Now let’s expect a miracle.”

I went to bed.  The next morning they were still there.  I let my faith go.  The next morning they were still there.  The next morning they were still there.  Ten days passed.  But on the tenth day, when I woke up, I looked at my hands.  Every one had disappeared!  I learned how to let my faith go.

Richard Robert – Tonight when I stretch forth my hands and say, “In the name of Jesus,” you let your faith go.  Believe.  Trust Him, and see what happens.  Can you say amen?

LR:  And I saw that in your daddy.  I saw that in you.  I saw that in this ministry, that the partners make the ministry.

RR:  I see it in you.

LR:  I love our partners.  I had a lady stop me, I’ve been in a lot of places in the last week, but I had a lady stop me off the airplane, and she was coming in from Costa Rica and she could hardly speak English, and yet she was saying she was a partner.  I tell you what; it just made my heart just leap.

I have dreamed of this night.  I have prayed about this night.  I have expected this night because God spoke to me to come to El Salvador.  And I am so glad that you came tonight.  Hallelujah!

About a year ago I was here in El Salvador, and I met with President Saka and many spiritual leaders in this nation.  And they invited me to come back this year and to come to this great amphitheater and to preach and to pray for the sick.  I’ve been waiting.  I am excited, and I am expecting God’s miracle power tonight here in this amphitheater.  Hallelujah!

This morning I met with 750 ministers of the Gospel, and I gave them a message for ministers only.  And we had a tremendous service, and we have been in expectation of this night.

Richard Roberts – When I came here a year ago, and after accepting the invitation of the President and the ministers, I told them that I would not come by myself, but I would bring a worship team.  I would bring a feeding team, and I would bring a medical team.  And we have done that.  We’ve been conducting medical clinics throughout the city these past two days.
