Now tonight you need a point of contact. A point of contact. What is your point of contact? What is it that you do to release your faith?
When I was ten years old, I had 22 warts on my hand. And they were spreading. And they were growing. My mother said, “We’re going to have the doctor burn it off.” Dr. Powell, they did that in those days.
My father said, “We’re going to pray.” I said, “Yes, please.” He took me in the bedroom. He said, “I’m going to pray.” He said, “I want you to release your faith.”
I said, “Daddy, daddy, how do you release your faith?”
He said, “Through a point of contact.” I said, “What is a point of contact?” He said, “A point of contact is something you do and when you do it, you release your faith. Now when I pray, you let your faith go. When I say, ‘In Jesus’ name,’ you let your faith go.” I said, “Okay.”
And he began to pray for me. Then he came to a point in his prayer when he said, “In Jesus’ name.” And I was listening. I was waiting for that. And when he said, “In Jesus’ name,” I said, “Faith, get up to God.” I let my faith go. I released my faith.
I looked at my hands. Every wart was still there. I looked at my father. He said something I’ve never forgotten. He said, “Now we’ve prayed and we’ve believed. Now let’s expect a miracle.”
I went to bed. The next morning they were still there. I let my faith go. The next morning they were still there. The next morning they were still there. Ten days passed. But on the tenth day, when I woke up, I looked at my hands. Every one had disappeared! I learned how to let my faith go.
Richard Robert – Tonight when I stretch forth my hands and say, “In the name of Jesus,” you let your faith go. Believe. Trust Him, and see what happens. Can you say amen?
Stand with me, please.
HK: That’s right.
LR: And I saw that in your daddy. I saw that in you. I saw that in this ministry, that the partners make the ministry.
RR: I see it in you.
LR: I love our partners. I had a lady stop me, I’ve been in a lot of places in the last week, but I had a lady stop me off the airplane, and she was coming in from Costa Rica and she could hardly speak English, and yet she was saying she was a partner. I tell you what; it just made my heart just leap.
RR: Praise God.
LR: So we thank our partners for everything that you saw, it’s because of our partners.
RR: Well, and Lindsay, and God spoke to me and said, “Have a special time on your program. Lay out the vision before the people.” He said, “Richard, if the partners don’t know what I’ve laid on your heart, how can they know how to respond?” He said, “Tell them about what I’ve told you to do in 2011, and let them get as excited as I am, and as excited as you’re going to be.” And Lindsay, people are responding. Here, just got a call from Richard in Constantine, MI. He’s making a one thousand dollar pledge. And Melody in San Antonio, making a one hundred dollar pledge, and Dwight in Fairfield, CA, a hundred dollar pledge, and Donna in Porter, TX, a hundred dollar pledge, and Janice in Claremore, a twelve hundred dollars, a hundred dollars a month.
LR: Praise the Lord.
Roberts Ministry – RR: David and Ruth in Londonderry, NH, a hundred dollar pledge, a hundred dollars a month I should say. Thank you sweetie; for twelve months, and I know Dave and Ruth very well. Luciana in Aurora, CO, making a hundred dollar pledge. Now, you can go to your phone right now and call that number, 918-495-7777. You have about thirty-eight minutes, almost thirty-eight minutes left in the program, so don’t wait till the end, and you can also go online at oralroberts.com, and you can make your gift by credit card, by debit card, or you can say, “I’m gonna send a check or money order.” Also Lindsay, people can give a gift of stock, a gift of real estate. A man called from Virginia. He says, “I have a piece of property in Tennessee. I want to donate it to the ministry….
RR: Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! (Speaking in Spanish) Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Hello, El Salvador. God bless El Salvador. God bless you tonight. (Spanish) I have come with great expectations. I’m expecting the miracle power of God. Turn to the person next to you and tell them, “I am expecting a miracle!” Hallelujah! God bless you. You may be seated.
I have dreamed of this night. I have prayed about this night. I have expected this night because God spoke to me to come to El Salvador. And I am so glad that you came tonight. Hallelujah!
About a year ago I was here in El Salvador, and I met with President Saka and many spiritual leaders in this nation. And they invited me to come back this year and to come to this great amphitheater and to preach and to pray for the sick. I’ve been waiting. I am excited, and I am expecting God’s miracle power tonight here in this amphitheater. Hallelujah!
I want to ask the organizing committee of pastors if they would stand, please. Give them a God bless you tonight. Thank you so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This morning I met with 750 ministers of the Gospel, and I gave them a message for ministers only. And we had a tremendous service, and we have been in expectation of this night.
Richard Roberts – When I came here a year ago, and after accepting the invitation of the President and the ministers, I told them that I would not come by myself, but I would bring a worship team. I would bring a feeding team, and I would bring a medical team. And we have done that. We’ve been conducting medical clinics throughout the city these past two days.
Now Richard Roberts could have given more, I could have given less. But He told me exactly what to give, just like He told Peter exactly when to throw out the net. Why that spot? Because that’s where the miracles were. That’s where the fish were. Jesus knew where the fish were. He had an ultimate fish locator. He knew where the fish were, so that when Peter threw the net over, Jesus could say, “Hit that net!”
And the one fish who was the leader, Lindsay Roberts spoke to all the other fish and said, “Come on, come on, let’s hit that net.” And you know the rest of the story. Suddenly their arms jerked, as they felt the weight of the fish. And they began to haul it in. And there were so many fish, there were too many fish. And the boat began to sink, as the nets began to break. It was a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of miracles.
Oral Roberts states that just the same way Jesus knew where the fish is, He knows where the miracle depth is for you when you give. And Peter had given something to God. What had he given? He had given his boat. He had allowed Jesus to use his boat. And Jesus gave it back to him, but it wasn’t in the same condition. Now it wasn’t empty any longer. It was filled with fish.
This morning when I gave, as the usher came by with the basket, as you came by, you came by and held it, I took my offering. I said, “As I let my offering go, I release my faith for a miracle.”
Richard Roberts – And then I said, “God, I sow it unto this ministry, but I am really giving it to You, for You are the author and finisher of my faith. I put it in the hands of your servant, but I am doing it as unto You.”
